I’m Jianna Terranova!

I am a dedicated primatologist and conservationist committed to bringing you the latest news and information about primates. I hold both an undergraduate and a graduate degree in primatology.  My adventures have taken me from trekking with mountain gorillas in Uganda to searching for spider monkeys in the rainforests of Costa Rica, to kayaking alongside rhesus macaques. I started developing this page after earning my master’s degree in June of 2025. This page aims to raise awareness of primates and the importance of protecting them and their habitats. Since I can't be in the field protecting them directly, I wanted to do my best with the resources I have by creating this platform.
